This is the oldest champagne factory in Ukraine. The factory was founded in 1896 by the Russian firm "Heinrich Rederer Champagne Factory". The Russian firm is one of the most famous Russian wine companies founded in 1830. The plant has been awarded 140 prizes and awards, including three grand prizes and 42 golden medals. It has also received numerous quality awards.

Today its output of wine and champagne totals about fifteen million bottles a year. Its trademark "Odessa" is famous in Europe.
